Our Price $995.00The Kenny Hill New World Estudio E650-Fingerstyle is the perfect guitar for the entry level student or perhaps an experienced player looking for an outstanding reasonably priced guitar with a narrower fingerboard and a cutaway for easier accessibility to the upper register. This is a great jazz or bossa nova instrument but certainly fits the bill for other styes where a nylon string sound is desired. The E650-Cutaway rivals guitars costing much more, not only in terms of sound and playability, but also materials and workmanship.
Designed by master luthier Kenny Hill, each Estudio E650-Cutaway is meticulously crafted to Kenny's specifications in a boutique shop in China that he set up, and by a team of artisans, some of whom he personally trained. Don't underestimate these instruments just because they were built offshore and constructed with laminated Indian rosewood back and sides. Each guitar is built with an extremely nice solid spruce top, a narrow Spanish cedar neck with rosewood fretboard, and a very thin, well executed PU finish. They are tastefully appointed with dyed and natural maple purflings, rosewood bindings, and an attractive traditional motif rosette. A two-way adjustable truss rod allows for fine tuning the action for optimal playability. The Estudio E650-Cutaway is definitely a cut above just about anything you will find in this price range. While these guitars are set up by Kenny and his team in his Ben Lomond, California workshop, we give them a once-over in our shop to optimize them further if necessary. Comes with a hardshell archtop case with a carrying strap.
