The D'Addario XCH-3B Pro-Arte basses are the most natural-sounding, longest-lasting coated hard tension strings available. The Pro-Arte XCH-3B basses are constructed using silverplated copper wire with an ultra-fine layer of EXP coating applied to it before it’s wound on an advanced composite core. This ensures the XCH-3B EXP basses have a powerful, long-lasting tone while remaining corrosion free. The XCH-3B basses offer a natural round wound feel and a fresh, bright sound that lasts 3 to 4 times longer than traditional strings.
D'Addario Classical Half Sets provide the flexibility for each player to customize their own sound and feel. Mix and match trebles and basses in a wide range of material combinations to create the unique voice of your instrument. The Pro-Arte XCH-3B EXP coated basses are also included in the EXP46 full set.
