This excellent sounding, spruce-topped Cordoba Espana Solista-SP has everything a serious player on a budget could want from a guitar: a superbly crafted instrument with sound that is well balanced, with great separation, and a lot of headroom to allow for some very nuanced and expressive playing. We have inspected this instrument from top to bottom and are really impressed with the wood selection and the craftsmanship that has gone into it. This instrument is built to Cordoba's specifications in a workshop in Valencia, Spain that builds Cordoba Espana series guitars in the Spanish tradition. It features a solid quarter-sawn European spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, Spanish cedar neck, and very nice ebony fingerboard. The guitar is appointed with a very attractive rosette, rosewood bindings and traditional WBW maple purflings. These decorative features along with a three-piece back make this guitar a real looker. Along with our free full setup, this Solista is going to make its new owner smile with delight. Also available with western red cedar top.

All guitars purchased on the All Strings Nylon website undergo a thorough setup performed by a professional luthier, Chuck Marfione, at no extra cost to our customers. The setup includes the following steps:

    • Inspect the instrument to ensure its cosmetic and structural integrity
    • Level and polish the frets, adjust the nut and saddle and, where present, the truss rod to achieve optimal action and eliminate string buzz
    • Adjust intonation if deemed necessary
    • Condition the fingerboard to protect it from dirt, perspiration, and drying out
    • Inspect the tuning machines to ensure they turn smoothly
    • Pre-stretch the strings to minimize string break-in
    • Test the electronics if present
