The normal tension Aquila 82C Ambra 800 romantic guitar string set was developed using synthetic materials to recreate the sound of gut trebles and silk-wound basses used in the 19th Century. Trebles are Supernylgut. Basses are Rayon multyfilament wound with silverplated copper wire. Both trebles and basses are designed to recreate the typical sound of gut trebles and silk-core wound strings of the time.
