Our Price $2,295.00The Kenny Hill New World Player Classical P628C offers the serious amateur a top-notch instrument that rivals guitars costing much more, not only in terms of sound and playability, but also materials and workmanship. Constructed with a 628mm scale length facilitating easier playability as a result of the compressed spacing between the frets. The shorter scale length in no way affects the instrument's sound performance. The P628C is an excellent guitar for players with smaller hands or those facing reach challenges with the more common 650mm scale instruments.
Designed by master luthier Kenny Hill, each Player P628C is meticulously crafted to Kenny's specifications in a boutique shop in China that he set up, and by a team of artisans, some of whom he personally trained. Don't underestimate these instruments just because they were built offshore. These are all solid Indian rosewood back and sides and solid cedar top guitars with Spanish cedar necks, ebony fretboards and a very thin PU finish. They are tastefully appointed with dyed and natural wood purflings, rosewood bindings, and an attractive traditional motif rosette. A two-way adjustable truss-rod allows enables fine-tuning the action for optimal playability. The Player P628C is definitely a cut above just about anything you will find in this price range. While these guitars are set up by Kenny and his team in his Ben Lomond, California workshop, we give them a once-over in our shop to optimize them further if necessary. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case with a carrying strap.
